Hi, I’m Lyndsey and I run Mini First Aid classes throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians. As a qualified Midwife, first aid trainer, and mum to two teenage boys I’ve dealt with numerous first aid situations and emergencies. I feel passionate that everyone should know first aid as you never know when something will happen and it’s important that you have the confidence and knowledge to deal with the situation. It's a frightening experience when someone becomes ill or is injured, however our friendly and relaxed classes aim to give you the skills to be able to know what actions to take if faced with a medical emergency.
Hi I'm Kirsty, I'm a retired midwife and mother of two girls. I am absolutely passionate about empowering people with knowledge, I know how important it is to know that you are doing the right thing by your family and I believe it brings confidence and peace of mind. As parents and grandparents there are so many things for us to worry about and having confidence in knowing exactly what to do in an emergency situation is one less thing to keep you awake at night. Even if you are a bit further down the parenting line it's never too late to pick up the invaluable, yet simple skills of first aid. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
Hi, I’m Shivonne, I was cabin crew for 10 years with the later years spent training and during my time I saw my fair share of accidents onboard, on the ground and in the air. Part of my training included aviation medicine, where I realised my passion for all things medical. I left work to have my two children and my first aid continued dealing with choking, burns, head injuries and of course, a few cuts and grazes on the way. Realising that my family members and many of my new mummy friends had little or no first aid skills - I knew this is where I wanted to pursue my career. I am very enthusiastic about first aid and feel it’s something everyone should know about. To be able to share my knowledge and help others to potentially save lives is very rewarding
